Hostile Environment Close Protection Operative
The HECPO course is an intensive 7-day training program with over 100-hours of instruction spent at our specialist training facility that includes a driver training area, heavy rescue trainer and CQB range. The course has been designed around sleep deprivation and induced stress scenarios to simulate typical operations within a hostile environment and includes live firing and hands-on medical training.
The Modus Concepts – HECPO course was designed by former UK Special Forces personnel and covers all key competencies mandatory for close protection operations in a conflict or post-conflict region throughout the world including:
- Threat & Risk Assessments
- Self Defense & Un-Armed Combat
- Resistance to Interrogation
- Tactical Driving
- Vehicle Recovery & Extraction
- Kidnap Survival
- Medical Training
- Ant-ambush Drills – Vehicle and Foot
- Surveillance & Counter Surveillance
- Weapons training – AK47, M4, Sig Sauer 552, Glock 17, Sig Sauer 226
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Applications to attend the HECPO course are assessed on a case-by-case basis. A full background check is carried out on all candidates, including a criminal record check. Candidates are then invited for an interview with the Modus Concepts Staff*. Should the candidate meet the criteria of Modus Concepts and be successful at interview stage, he/she will then be eligible to attend the HECPO course.

VENUE
The HECPO course is conducted in Calgary, Canada. The course will take place between the classroom and our specialist training facilities with live field operations concluding the course throughout the test phase.

7-Days, 100-Hours - $2,250 (CDN) + GST (5%)
